Are you interested in ballroom dancing?
That's great because it means that you are entering a wonderful world of music and movement that captivates and takes over. Ballroom dance is an art and has cultural meaning due to its origin and placement in history. The two major schools of dance are American Smooth & Rhythm and International Standard & Latin. Popular American dances include Waltz, Tango, Fox Trot, V.Waltz (Smooth) and Rumba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, Bolero, Mambo (Rhythm). International dances are similar and include Waltz, Tango, Fox Trot, V. Waltz, Quickstep (Standard) and Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Paso Doble, Jive (Latin).
